In memory of Frank Whelan
Story
My dad was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer in September 2019. He passed away two months later.
During the first summer of COVID-19, I started livestreaming covers and writing them in a songbook. To remember my Dad, Frank, I decided to try play through the whole songbook.
On September 19th 2020 I played 13hrs worth of songs and we raised €4,053 for charity.
This year, on Saturday the 25th September, I'm putting on another streaming event. This time we'll aim for quality over quantity, but I'll still do a good six hours of acoustic covers.
