My father, Mr. Walter Soldati is a marathon runner since many many years. He was born in Switzerland and spent most of his life there. He met my mum in England so he has a special affection for this country. He has agreed to run the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2008 in London as long as I raise the funds for the NGO I work for, Medecins du Monde UK. I have joined MdM because I really admire and respect our work in the UK and abroad as it addresses the needs of the most vulnerable world wide, often women and children and aims at making sustainable changes wherever we go.
