Story

Hello! Thanks for looking at my page.

I'm sure you have clicked that the midwife on a bike in my profile photo isn't me but it's not too far off what I look like at work! And... I will definitely be wearing fewer layers of clothing when I do the race.

Compassion is a fantastic charity that I have sponsored a child through for 4 years (along with my friend Kiki!) and I have been amazed at how much support the kids get at the projects around the world. We write letters and get regular updates on our little guy to see how he's doing at school and at home.

The problem comes when, for many reasons, sponsors have to stop sponsoring their child but the charity continues supporting him/her, which causes a lot of financial strain. The charity also run other projects, like a mother and baby nutrition project which requires funding.

I would love you to sponsor me if you can! I have been doing some practice rides (about 24miles) but haven't yet done a 54 mile trial run... And I probably won't before the race, so prayers would be gratefully received!!
