Well, someone said "how about the 3 Peaks?", we said "ok" he said "in 24 hrs though!” We laughed and then somehow we now find ourselves doing it.
Mad dogs and Englishmen, with a bit of French, Irish, Hungarian and Norwegian SPARKS was the natural choice of Charity. We have 12 children between us and choosing SPARKS that cherish children as we do our own was obvious. We need to raise £4,000 between us so we are trying to get as much support as possible. We were going to do it September 09 but due to injuries we moved it to 22 May 2010. Please be generous when donating as this a very difficult challenge. In a nutshell we have climb Ben Nevis get back down and then be driven to Cumbria and ascend Scafell Pike and returning at 1am then to be driven to Wales where Mount Snowdon is the last stage and most demanding get to the top and down all before the stopwatch hits 24 hours. All of your donations will go directly to SPARKS. We as a group will fund our own personal expenses flights to Scotland and back from Wales. Plus lots of Carbohydrates. A very big thank you from Andre Tapponnier, Gary Olsen, Perry Richards (silly idea person), Andy Horton, John Tyson, Paul Geoghegan and Edward Bagaley This is whom we are walking for, https://www.sparks.org.uk/NetCommunity/SSLPage.aspx?pid=191 Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
