Story

The Sparrow Schools Educational Trust strives to help disadvantaged children with special needs in Johannesburg to become independent, skilled, income-generators in society. We require a range of resources and equipment to support the education and skills training of Sparrow learners.

So instead of giving chocolate this Easter, why not give educational resources that will support the development of children with learning difficulties?

Please donate £10 (or more!) this Easter and tell us where you would like your money to go:

  • Feeding Scheme (feed lunch to disadvantaged children who come to school with no food)
  • Learning Support Unit (sponsor therapy equipment to support the development of children with learning difficulties)
  • Stars and Stickers (to encourage good behavior in lesson times- both teachers and children love stickers!)
  • Leadership Camp (we would like to take 30 children at R650 each for leadership camp)
  • Chess Club (buy chess boards to allow more children to join our new, but increasingly popular chess club.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
