Sponsor a Shingle for All Saints, Great Bourton.

All Saints iconic Bell Tower is in need of re-roofing.  

The existing roof tiles (some asbestos!)  need removing and replacing with Oak Shingles, in keeping with the original Victorian design.  

The work will be done as part of the Bell Tower Conservation Project and a number of fund raising events are helping to complete this major task.

All donors (and their messages) will be recorded in the Bell Tower Conservation Project book - a lasting record of the amazing community support that has been evident throughout these extraordinary times.  

And your donation will form part of the schematic Bell Tower Roof that will be on show in the Church.

We need approximately 2500 shingles.  So whether you sponsor a single shingle for £15 or your Family or Street wish to sponsor 4 Shingles for £50 or 10 for £100, every donation is gratefully received!   

Donations are welcomed from everyone - whether you are part of our parish or not - We know that for many people our iconic Bell Tower is a landmark in their memories.  Perhaps you know it from your visits to the Fairport’s Cropredy Convention, from your visits to Barnstones caravan site, or from your visits to family.  Perhaps you regularly drive past it on your way to surrounding villages.  Thank you for caring and for supporting us.
