I am a keen cyclist and have undertaken a number of long distance tours. These include a circumnavigation of Ireland as well as tours in southern Spain, France and the UK. 

I have set myself the challenge of cycling from my home town of South Shields to Seville - a journey of approx. 1700 miles. This is my longest trip and, given my years, probably my last chance of such an extensive journey. 

I am funding the trip myself but  would like to use it as a means of raising funds for excellent work of Macmillan Cancer Support.
