TREVORS TRACKS--------ALZHIEMERS WALK

Hi im Stacey and i am organising a walk to raise money for Alzheimer's Research Trust. The walk is going to take place on the 22nd November at 10am, we will be walking from Letchworth to Weston and back again which is about 7mile.

I want to promote Alzheimer's and Dementia, as it is now as common as Cancer and every 14 minutes someone is diagnosed. Alzheimer's doesn't recieve any government funding, it relies on the kind donations it is given.

My grandad is now in his 5th year of Alzheimer's and over the course of these years i have watched a strong man crumble bit by bit. With Alzheimer's you lose the person mentally, they don't know who you are and you grieve for that lovely. caring person they once were.

I would love to raise as much money as possible for this charity and make people aware of this disease and just how common it is becoming. There is no cure for Alzheimer's as of yet and they don't recieve alot of money to help them with their research.
