My daughter Mia is a type 1 diabetic and the care she receives, from the play specialist, bluebell ward and the fabulous diabetes team has been excellent, I want to raise a little bit of money for new equipment, or toys for the poorly children, when Mia was ill, giving her a toy after an injection, made things a little easier. I am also trying to lose weight so this will encourage my weight loss. I am fundraising for East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals' Charity!The charity supports the four hospitals within the East and North Hertfordshire Trust - Lister Hospital, New QEII, Hertford County and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre - helping them go above and beyond for patients, their families and visitors.
