Story
Hello there, welcome to my Just Giving page.
For those who don't know my story, I am a cancer survivor. I was diagnosed in September 2014 with Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma, a blood cancer, after an 18 month battle to find it. It started with a shadow in my lung then a lump in my collar bone. Different diagnosis and different diagnosis. On 24th October 2014, a month after I got married, I started my 6 month journey of chemotherapy, 2 sessions a month, 1 every fortnight. I was told on 25th September 2015, the day after my 1 year wedding anniversary, that I was in remission.
My auntie is also a Hodgkins Lymphoma survivor, I have a friend who has survived breast cancer. I lost another aunt to cancer and a granddad. Research is completely necessary to make sure we reduce the number of people who die from cancer.
I will be doing a walk from Eastbourne Pier to Hastings Pier on 9th January 2016. (weather permitting) If you wish to join me, don't hesitate to message me for details.
Thank you for reading and don't forget to donate!
