Last year we became a Parkrun Practice because we wanted to promote health and well-being of our staff and patients within our local community.

Many of us had never ran, perhaps to the local shop and back, but nothing more.  Now we have staff and patients running at local Parkruns, making new friends, keeping active and being part of the local community.

We have entered two relay teams into the Greater Manchester Marathon, taking place on the 7th April.  For many of us, this will be our first race.  We hope to accomplish this goal and raise money for Willow Wood Hospice.

Willow Wood Hospice has a special place in our hearts.  They provide the highest quality, palliative care for patients with life limiting illnesses.  They provide fantastic support to families and many of our staff have witnessed this from the fantastic care they have received for their own families. 

2019 is Willow Wood's 20th Year Anniversary and we hope to raise as much money to keep this wonderful place for many more years to come.
