Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am taking part in the Great Women's 10k in Glasgow to raise money for a special little girl who lives in Ireland and is called Elsa McBurney. Elsa started to have back pain with no other symptoms to then be diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma on her spine. She has now lost some function in her legs due to the tumor crushing her spinal cord but continues to defy the odds and improves more than anyone ever could have expected. Since then Elsa has been having intense chemotherapy and has spent most of her time in hospital. She continues to fight but misses all the things that we take for granted. She spent her 7th birthday hooked up to chemo unable to have visitors, her birthday trip to scotland to see her uncle Graham and auntie Kelsey was cancelled & she's unlikely to be able to be a flowergirl for them which is something she has been excited for this past 2 years. Her treatment is expected to last for a year and sadly to say there will be more things that she will most likely have to miss out on but charities like angel wishes really help to keep these kids chins up when the world seems to be against them. Angel Wishes do their absolute best to help children fighting cancer smile with the little things in life. 100% of all money raised goes directly to providing treats and trips for the children as 'memories last forever.'

Elsa is 7 years old and is smiling everyday to kick cancers butt so I want to help in any way possible to help her do it. Anything at all that you can donate will be greatly appreciated by myself and everyone else involved.
