Story

Hi,

Thanks for looking at my page for Action Duchenne.

As you may know I 'ran' this race last year and raised over £300 for Action Duchenne, however this time I am actually going to run! It's 6 months away so plenty of training and I'm going to run!

So why Action Duchenne and who's that gorgeous boy in my picture?

Meet Alfie-James. He's just had his second birthday and loving life. He's clever, cheeky, hilarious and full of beans! However, Alfie has a disease called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy which means that if no cure is found he will probably be in a wheelchair by the time he is in his teens. Do not fear though, with money that you donate you can help find a cure and let Alfie continue his happy life like any other normal kid - so please please please dig deep!

I am also running this race for Parkinson's UK for my Grandad who passed away last year - please check out his page too: www.justgiving.com/stephbrazierparkinsons

Lots of love

Steph (and Alfie-James) xxxx
