Virgin London Marathon 2011 · 17 April 2011 ·

We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Training update!

I have just created a page so you can track my training:

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

An email popped into my inbox from my bank saying that it would be a good idea to run 26 miles for the plight of disadvantaged children.  I agreed and thought it would be a great idea to take part and do my bit.  Also at the back of my mind was that the London Marathon is so over-subscribed that there would be no chance I would get a place!  To my dismay I was accepted to take part in the London marathon 2011 on behalf the NSPCC.

It was not until I had a child of my own did I realise and appreciate how serious the plight of these young children is.  So please dig deep (as I know I will certainly be digging very deep) and donate what you can for a great cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Many thanks for your support!
