At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thank you for supporting me to take part in Memory Walk this year in memory of my Dad, who died very suddenly earlier this year, and raise much needed funds for Alzheimer's Society.

All of the money I raise will help support people living with dementia and their families/friends, so your donation will make a huge difference.

Dementia entered our family life, uninvited, and took us on a journey. As an Ambassador for Dementia Friendly Communities, it is essential we all work together in raising awareness, funds and strategies to assist those living with it.

Just £50 will pay for someone with dementia to go to a Dementia Café session every week for a month, where they can meet others, share experiences and feel less isolated. And the more I raise, the bigger the difference it will make.

Please give generously - every penny counts to help someone and their family/friends.

Thanks.
