Andrew Steptoe, a British Heart Foundation Professor, and his son William, a post-doctoral research fellow, are swapping textbooks for trainers when they take part in its Blenheim Palace Half Marathon on Sunday 7 October.

Andrew's research post at University College London is funded by the BHF, and William also works at UCL in the virtual environments and computer graphics group.

Drs. Steptoe and Son hope to raise £500 for the nation’s heart charity by running the 13-mile route!
