Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

On 7th June 2015, 19 of us will set out on a 960 mile adventure ! In 7 days, we aim to climb the highest peaks in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales. That is 50 miles of walking, but we also plan to cycle between the peaks - 960 miles in seven days. As far as we know , no one has ever done this before (probably for good reason)To put this in perspective - that is 137 miles cycling a day , plus a mountain on five days. In the 2015 Tour de France they will do 2077 miles in 21 days of riding - a mere 99 miles per day. We will also climb over 17,000 feet - half an Everest !We are raising funds for Prostate Cancer UK and the Marie Keating Foundation. Both charities are at the forefront of the fight against cancer and we are delighted to be able to support them.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
