Maggie’s Centres are warm and welcoming places built alongside NHS hospitals that provide the support that people with cancer and their family and friends need. www.maggiescentres.org

Story

Hello peeps. Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page for the London 20 Mile Nightwalk. Last year 2,000 people raised £689,000 - Please help to smash that total this year.

That figure gave an average of £345 per person, so we have set our target at £1,200 to reflect £400 for each team member.

Every penny raised will go towards changing the lives of people affected by cancer. Maggie’s Centres are almost entirely run by voluntary funding and the money you give will help them to reach their goal of opening six new Cancer Caring Centres across the UK by 2012 and support the running costs of their existing centres.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
