Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening genetic condition that slowly destroys the lungs and digestive system. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity fighting for a life unlimited, when everyone living with CF can look forward to a long, healthy life. www.cysticfibrosis.org.uk

Story

OK for this our second year, as a ramshakle running team, we are going to run the Great North Run, Sunday, September 18th, 2005 for:
"The Cystic Fibrosis Trust"

It is the UK's only national charity dedicated to all aspects of Cystic Fibrosis(CF). It funds medical research aimed at understanding, treating and curing Cystic Fibrosis. It also aims to ensure people with CF receive the best possible care and support.

For obvious reasons its a charity close to our hearts and we need more help than ever to make our target.

I hope all the runnners are listed above, any missing please tell me ASAP.
The important thing now is to try and get some money in to justify the aches, pains, nagging running partners and exhaustion. That's where this website comes in, it's new for this year's charity and from my perspective last year's worked very well We made over £12,000 for Marie Curie, which was brilliant. Some people aren't as keen on the internet but you can collect the money by hand and then use your own or a friend's credit or debit card to send it off to the CF trust. Either way as long as the card holder ticks the right box the CF Trust gets the money fast and an extra 28% from the government at no cost to us. We need to make £300 per runner so lets get started now. Some companies were particlularly generous last year if anyone has any contacts and suggestions then please email me with the info. Lots of love Stephen and the Team Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. So please sponsor us now! Donations large and small are equaly welcome. Many, many thanks for your support.
