We provide an opportunity for adults and children in the local community to participate in brass music. We perform 3 concerts per year, we compete in 2 competitions annually and we play at local gala days, in primary schools, at the annual Remembrance Service and several carol services at Christmas.

We are Rachel and Sean, players with Stranraer Brass, which is a band based in Dumfries and Galloway in South West Scotland.


On Sunday 19th September 2022 Stranraer Brass will represent Scotland at the National Brass Band Finals in Cheltenham. We are aiming to help raise funds to assist with travel and accommodation costs for the 27 members of Stranraer Brass!


Our challenge, between us, is to run, cycle and hike the distance from Stranraer to Cheltenham and back. This is a distance of 688 miles. We will provide regular updates as to our progress.
