StreetDoctors trains young people affected by violence how to be lifesavers, including what to do if someone is bleeding or knocked out. Our movement of young healthcare volunteers empower 11-25 year olds across the UK to make more informed decisions & become StreetDoctors in their communities.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are Medical Students who work as part of a charity called StreetDoctors. We work hard to teach young offenders life support skills with the aim of getting more victims of violent crime surviving until ambulances arrive. .

We know of three cases of young people using our teaching to deliver life-saving first aid and actually saving lives – on two occasions when someone was stabbed and on a third occasion a young man delivered CPR to his uncle who survived an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.

To continue this great work, we would really appreciate your support- any donations are welcomed, and if we reach our taget, we promise to dress up and embarass ourselves in any way you choose!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
