Thanks for visiting this page, myself, Richard Maxwell-Whale, Russell Fisher, Mike Harvey, Nick Kavanagh, Dale Manning and Rob Turner would like to ask you to make a donation to MIND and in return we'll run 13.1 miles for you!

The 7 of us decided to take up the run last year following the sad and unfortunate passing of 2 close friends who died in similar circumstances within a few months of each other. 

Stuart meant the world to alot of people, his big infectious grin, an untouchable knowledge of music and talent as an artist and musician.  Stuart had alot of family and friends who cared for him deeply, such was his popular personality.

Paul (Fordy) equally meant alot to people in various circles, one of which was through his main love football.  An avid Leeds United fan, Paul travelled the country over the years following his side and made many friends along the way.  He was also popular through his studies at University where he gained a PHD. 

Both Paul and Stuart were very intelligent people who passed on their knowledge and traits to many who knew them and made their lives richer for doing so.

By running the Colchester half marathon, the 5 of us hope to achieve a target of £1,500 which can will go directly to the MIND charity.  This will hopefully provide people who in similar circumstances to Stu and Fordy can find more help and learn to cope with mental health issues.
