Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 30th October 2016, My Dad and Nathan's granddad lost a long battle to Parkinson's... Pakinson's is a disease that most people associate with Mahamid Ali & Michael J Fox and assume that its just the tremors.

However the tremors  are just part of it .. the degenerative disease takes away the memory, ability to walk unaided and slowly over a long period of time, you watch your loved one change to a shadow of their former self, that resulted in my father passing away.

Parkinson's effects almost one in 500 people and there are no known cures for the disease, therefore to raise some much needed funds for the charity and to help research into the disease, both Nathan and myself will take on the Wigan 10k & GNR on two consecutive weekends in September (Sunday 3rd - Wigan 10k, Sunday 10th GNR 1/2 marathon)

please support us not only hit the £1500. target, but to smash through it.. and if your in Wigan or Newcastle on those weekends , please cheers us on (I know I'll need the support!!!)
