The Victoria Robertson Memorial Cannon · 14 October 2014

The RBL are the UK's leading charity providing financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served and are currently serving in the British Armed Forces and their dependents.

Story

2014 marks Stubbins’ 50th Anniversary and the 100th Anniversary of the start of World War I.

To commemorate this Centenary Year, Stubbins have supported the Victoria Robertson Memorial Cannon, a horticultural sculpture grown at Copped Hall, Epping to raise money for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

The Royal British Legion was founded by veterans of WW1 who adopted the poppy as their symbol of Remembrance and hope.

As we come together in Remembrance of events a century ago, we are reminded of the important welfare work the Legion continues to provide.

Please make a donation to help support their work.
