Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses – who we continually support and develop – provide life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I work with Cinnamon Care Capital, a UK Healthcare Investor in senior care and senior living properties. It specialises in new, purpose built properties to the highest standards for senior residents requiring high dependency care, which includes those living with Dementia.

There are currently 820,000 people with dementia in the UK, and numbers are set to rise to over 1 million by 2021. To raise awareness and support care and research into dementia, I have decided to take part in this challenge, raising funds for Dementia UK.

Dementia UK is a national charity, committed to improving quality of life for all people affected with dementia.
