Wirral Hospice St John's provides specialist palliative care for the Wirral. It costs up to £7m a year to run the Hospice, which is at no charge to our patients. This is all thanks to the loyal support and commitment of our supporters who do so much to help raise funds for our charity's work.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Roger Bryson was a much-loved friend and highly valued member of the BBC News Online subs desk, but he sadly passed away last July.

Roger was diagnosed with inoperable bowel cancer last March, and was being cared for at Wirral St John's Hospice in Bebington.

He asked for donations to be made to the hospice after his death, so we are running this race to raise money for the hospice in his name.

Thank you so much for your donation.

Love, the Substandards x
