Story
We have seen the work of the Salvation Army and the Foundation & love what they do to transform people's lives.
Warrington Wolves Foundation use sport to engage and inspire others to change their lives. By supporting them it helps me bring some joy, maybe a smile or if I'm lucky a laugh, through tough and challenging times.
The Salvation Army supports, reshapes and gives hope to the homeless & vulnerable community. In our lives we can't always say for sure what will happen, but one thing we can do is help in areas that we can. To make a life, a struggle, a moment that much easier and special. A large number of people find it hard to make ends meet, and the Salvation Army provide a lot of support for those who are struggling in difficult times.
So on the 2nd July I will be joined by Ben Murdoch-Masila, Bodene Thompson and Leilani Latu to run 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours. We will be begin at 8pm on Thursday and will finish at 4pm on Saturday, raising funds for two causes that mean a lot to us.
I've personally been through struggles myself and with my family, not knowing if we were going to have a roof over our heads, clothes on our backs or if we were going to eat the next day. From going through those struggles it warms our hearts to step out of our comfort zones and take on this challenge to help others.
If you can donate or help in the slightest, we are extremely grateful and thankful for your support.
