At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you. Visit www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk

Story

On Wednesday 18th July 2018 we were given the news that no parent or family should ever have to hear and experience. Our dear little 3-year-old Seth Holder was diagnosed with Cancer.

As of creating this JustGiving page, Seth's Journey back to full health has already begun. He's received 3 weeks of chemotherapy treatment at The Bristol Royal Hospital for Children and is now recovering at Great Ormond Street Hospital after successful surgery to remove the cancerous tumour.

Whilst Seth's Journey back to full health will no doubt be a long one, there is a feeling that significant hurdles have already been crossed, and we're all looking ahead to a positive road that leads back home.

This JustGiving page will become a hub for most of our fundraising efforts over the next 12 months or so. There will be head shaves, cycle challenges, coffee and cake events, runs and much much more. So keep your eyes peeled!

Lee and Leanne are refusing to take any money for themselves or Seth, instead wanting the money to go to CLIC Sargent. This shows how much they value the support they've been given from this amazing charity.

Only when you're put into this situation do you realise what a truly incredible service and support these types of charities are giving to thousands of families daily.

It will be difficult to keep up with thanking everyone individually, so from the Holders, Turners and Homewoods, a huge thanks for the donations, well wishes and thoughts you're all continuing to give us. And you can be safe in the knowledge that your money is making a real difference to families in this situation.
