In December 2012 I had a heart transplant at Papworth Hospital. Thanks to my wonderful donor and their brave family I am alive today - and enjoying my life again!

I have been able to celebrate my 50th birthday - many times over thanks to my wonderful family and friends! I am also going to be starting a new job, I haven't worked  since 2007 due to my bad heart. I am so thrilled at this brilliant milestone and can't wait to get started!

My life wouldn't be as brilliant as it is without the amazing team at Papworth. They change lives everyday and give people like me a future. I wouldn't be able to be doing this walk without them - I  simply wouldn't be alive.

I am grateful to them - and say thank you every day. I want to help them by raising as much money as possible. I know times are hard for everyone, but please will you dig deep and help me to help this fantastic hospital. Every donation will make a huge difference.
