Dragon Boat Race · 21 July 2013

We raise funds for research that will lead to the successful treatment and eventual elimination of kidney disease. The lives of many people are seriously affected by kidney disease. Kidney failure is an extremely debilitating illness. Research is the only answer to find a prevention or a cure.

Story

Once again the Sweaty Kidney Scientists are taking to their Dragon Boat to raise funds for Kidney Research!  This year's race is on Sunday 21st July (and it looks as if it will be a beautiful day).   The location is Canbury Gardens, Kingston on Thames and the racing goes on from 10:00 am until around 4:00 pm.

This is a great family day out.  Apart from the racing, there are loads of activities for children, charity stalls, hot and cold food available and a large pub right at the finish line!  There are also lots of places for a picnic alongside the river.  We look forward to seeing you there cheering on the Sweaty Kidney Scientist team!
