Story
The last time I climbed or abseiled, it was in 2005 in Snowdonia (see my pic), it was about 15 metres up and down, and I wasn't a fan!
So to get over the fear, and for an excellent cause, I'm going to abseil down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth in aid of Gosport and Fareham Branch Multiple Sclerosis Society. This time I'll be climbing in the safety of a lift, before descending 94 metres on a rope!
Please please give generously, and all your money will stay local and go to the work done by the Gosport and Fareham MS Society.
Gosport and Fareham MS Society do great work, they're volunteers supporting many many sufferers in the local area, with advice, physiotherapy sessions, home assessments and adaptations, mobility aids, and days out, to name but a few. Most of all they give unconditional friendship to sufferers of MS, and their families.
Again, please give generously, and if you're a taxpayer, please do the Gift Aid bit when you donate.
