Our vision is to advance Venezuelan children through education and community development. We fund local reputable NGO's that contribute to the development and social transformation of Venezuelan children. Chamos is a non-profit organisation managed by a group of volunteers with strong ties to Venezuela.

Story

So the true story goes like this.

Had a fun night out (a couple of drinks too many?), scrolled on my phone before going to bed… saw the Royal Parks Half Marathon advertised… decided I needed a new challenge…. and signed up!

The following morning I panicked. I’m a non-runner and haven’t exercised properly since my shoulder injury last November. And I had made a significant fund raising commitment with Royal Parks, and couldn’t step out!

So I called my friend and “partner in crime” Fernanda Lemme for help. And she also signed up - and has been motivating me to train ever since.

The half marathon is on October 9th and I still have a long way to go and a lot of training to do.

For fundraising, I was looking for a charity that I felt connected to, where every pound makes a difference and which spends the funds effectively. So I decided to fundraise for Chamos, a wonderful charity that provides health and education to kids in Venezuela.

If you can help me raise funds I’ll be forever grateful!

Many thanks!
