Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary works to protect chimpanzees in Sierra Leone, West Africa. Over 70 rescued chimpanzees are cared for at the sanctuary where they live in as natural an environment as possible. The sanctuary also runs extensive education, community outreach and field research projects.
