Taff Trail bike ride for Motor Neurone disease · 21 January 2008

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Hi, Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

Please dig deep and sponsor us, we are going to cycle just under 30miles on Saturday 5th April for Motor Neurone Disease. There will be 8-12 people cycling experienced/non experienced!

At the finish friends/family will be welcoming us back with drinks and support, with collection buckets. please contact me if u want to help! Helpers are, jill baker, jo rice, jo maurice, kelly sorensen, ian bousie, donna baker.

Motor Neurone Disease is a muscle wasting disease leaving the sufferer completely dependent on others for their care. My dad required a nippv ventilator to help him breath and needed to use a wheelchair. He was extremely poorly and was so brave and determined throughout the 7yrs of his diagnosis. He was diagnosed at 53, and sadly died at 60yrs old.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: the Motor Neurone Disease Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Thanks for your support
