We raise money and awareness to help the poor & forgotten in the Ummah.

Story

Assalaamu Alaikum,

We’re raising money for our brothers and sisters in Gaza - you've all seen the current unjust situation and it appears to be getting worse. It is vital that they know that the rest of the Ummah haven't forgotten them and we believe that it's our responsibility to pull our weight together and help them.

Prophet (SAW) said "None of you will believe until you love for your brother what you love for yourself." [Bukhari & Muslim]

We have access to the basic necessities in life - most of which we take for granted: a roof over our heads, free medical/hospital treatment and a plentiful supply of food and water. Would you not want this for them too?

Our donations right now are vital to them - and SubhanAllah what a great month is it to give Sadaqah (charity). Abu Huraira(RA) reported: The Prophet (SAW) said, “Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives except that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises his status.” [Sahih Muslim]

We've set up this page so we can all donate together - if we put our little bits together, we believe that Insha'Allah it'll make a large difference. Our aim is to raise £500 by Sunday (20th July 2014) as it goes without saying really; they need these funds urgently.

On a final note, we’d like to remind you of this Hadith:

Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.” (Al-Tirmidhi)

Brothers and Sisters, not only will your donations help those who are severely in need in Gaza, but SubanAllah, it’s also a form of protection for yourself, from tragedy and misfortune.

Keep us in your Duas Insha'Allah
Ridhwan and Saima Haque
