Sightsavers' vision is of a world where no one is blind from avoidable causes and where visually impaired people participate equally in society.

Story

Lindsay McIntyre, Lisa Michie, Stephen Pemberton, Michael Laing, Anthony Corcoran, Alan Murray, Dan Wood, Derek Swan, Martin Thomson, Aileen Billingsley, John O'Donnell, Alan Williams, Thomas Downie, Claire Reid, Kasia Duvalle, Alan Anderson, Nataliya Smirnov, Istvan Csajaghy, Tim Fish. This year Optos has put together the greatest team so far to face the mighty challenge they call the Tough Mudder. This challenge is a 12 mile gruelling ordeal of water, ice, mud, and maybe fire but definitely electric shocks. Not for the faint hearted, the training has begun and we are all beginning to wonder what we were thinking.

All this, though, is for a very worthy cause, Sightsavers. Make a donation and support  team Optomud but more importantly make a donation and support Sightsavers, saving someone’s sight and changing a life forever.  80% of blindness is preventable.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
