London to Brighton Bike Ride 2013 · 16 June 2013

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Like all families, there are the good times and there are the not so good times. Our family is no different and when Pa died from the effects of cancer after a very long and brave battle with the disease two years ago this July, I knew I wanted to get off my backside and do something to raise money for chairty. More than that, I decided I wanted to set myself the goal of cycling for charity at least once a year, if not more. Keep fit, raise money and feel I've put something back.

I know that everytime I am on my bike, I shall be remembering pa and thanking him for being my pa. He was a good person and I hope he will be proud of all of you who are able to get involved in whatever way you can, through donating, sponsoring or just helping to make a difference in this world.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
