The boys are doing charity!
78.01 MILES DOWN, 929.99 MILES TO GO!!
We (a group of 15) have set ourselves the challenge of running, swimming, and walking a combined total of 1,000 miles (1,610 km) throughout the month of May. This is roughly equivalent to travelling from Cardiff to the very top of mainland Scotland, near John o' Groats, and back. All of this is to raise as much money as we can for LATCH Welsh Children's Cancer Charity.
Each of us will be putting in the time and effort to hit our individual targets, finishing with a final group walk on 30th May to push us over the 1000-mile mark.
We’re doing this to support Latch, an incredible charity that helps families across Wales who are facing childhood cancer. Based at the Children’s Hospital for Wales in Cardiff, they provide vital emotional, practical, and financial support right when it’s needed most.
From helping with the extra costs families face, to providing social workers, free accommodation so families can stay together, and even offering breaks and activities. Latch makes a real difference during some of the hardest times imaginable.
That’s why we’re pushing ourselves with this challenge.
You can track each individuals efforts on their donation pages but collectively all will be updated on our team Just Giving page: www.justgiving.com/team/1000milesinmay-
If you can, please donate and help us stay motivated. Every contribution, big or small, goes towards supporting these families. And if you can’t donate, sharing this page would mean just as much.
