Lucy & Toby’s 100km Walk for Isla and Neuroblastoma UK

Raising money for Neuroblastoma UK

South Coast Ultra Challenge 2026 · 5 September 2026 to 6 September 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

Every week in the UK, around two families are told their child has neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer. We fund leading research projects to deliver new, effective and kinder treatments for children with neuroblastoma. With your help we can save more young lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In May 2025, my family suffered the worst news possible that my 7 year old niece, Isla, was diagnosed with Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma.

Isla and I have always shared a very special bond from the moment she was born. Watching her now, completely and utterly breaks my heart while she navigates this new life of hers, being poked and prodded, attending hospital visits for treatment and scans, my little girl shouldn’t be going through this. Babies and children shouldn’t have to go through this.

That’s why the work of Neuroblastoma UK is so vital in aiding research for this awful disease. And it was a no brainer that I would raise money for this worthy cause.

So, on September 5th 2026, my boyfriend Toby and I will take on the South Coast Challenge and we will be walking continuously for 100km. Seeing Isla having to use a wheelchair for the foreseeable future makes me determined to do this for her.
