1AMW is going to the Wall! Wg Cdr Tom Walker (OC 1 AMW) and Sqn Ldr Steve Jones (OC UKMAMS) will be running coast-to-coast along the Hadrian’s Wall 90-mile trail between 31 Mar and 2 Apr 20. This will be broken down into 3 x 30 mile stages starting at Bowness-on-Sea on the West Coast and finishing at Tynemouth on the East Coast. They will be raising money for the RAF Benevolent Fund and the 1AMW Charities Fund, which incorporates both the Cirencester Opportunity Group and Kajiado Children’s Home. Three excellent charities who support RAF families / local children, and Kenyan orphans respectively.
