1st Yate Scouts and Challenger Explorers are once again joining in the Yate Cancer relay.

This is a 24 hour team event with at least one team member walking around the sports track for the whole duration. Last time we collectively walked pretty much the length of the country - in a circle.

There are a variety of themed events across the time designed to raise awareness of issues surrounding cancer and those helping fight it - also seen as an opportunity for a number of our leaders to dress up and sacrifice any pride left for charity - we did win the spirit of relay award though!

So if you can help every penny and every pound counts and together we can beat cancer sooner
