Thanks for supporting my fundraising. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.

My wife, Barbara, was diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian cancer in February 2022. During her time in hospital Macmillan Nurses were a great support. The work done by The Windmill Unit at Blackpool Victoria Hospital for Macmillan Cancer Support is invaluable.

We have raised many thousands of pounds since 2022 for Macmillan. Our total in 2024 was over £6000.

During 2025 we are fundraising again. This year, as always, it is through our love of cycling. Quite simply, Peter, Barbara and our passenger the amazing Shih Tzu, Bella aim to cycle 2025 miles between 1st January and 31st December 2025.

There will be cycling along our local promenade in Blackpool, adventures in Wales, Scotland, Cumbria, Yorkshire. Northumberland and more.

All rides will be recorded on our Garmin cycle computers, and saved through the Strava app. Progress will be monitored on this JustGiving page.

This will all happen alongside Barbara's weekly chemotherapy, that has been able to control the cancer.
