On Friday 4th September, we are taking on the Rhodar Coastal Hike Challenge.

This is an 18.9-mile hike that will take our group along the high cliffs and sandy beaches of the spectacular East Coast of North Yorkshire. The Coastal Hike Challenge will start at the seaside town of Bridlington, progress along the very edge of the famous Flamborough Head cliffs, through expansive bays, and finish at Filey Brigg.

We’re tackling this extensive hike along undulating coastline, and bracing ourselves for some potentially extreme weathers, in support of Rhodar’s main company charity for the year, the Jason Robinson Foundation.

The Jason Robinson Foundation works alongside families, schools, and communities to improve the lives of disadvantaged children, through sports coaching, mentoring, and positive role modelling. They create safe networks for children through afterschool clubs, holiday camps and breakfast clubs, where young people can develop their physical skills, build confidence, and make social connections.
