To support our Building Project Fundraising at Shipley Salvation Army, we are carrying out a 30 Miles 'Pass The Flag' Sponsored Walk Challenge along the Leeds - Skipton section for the Leeds-Liverpool Canal.

To include as many people in the Challenge as possible we have split the Walk into 3 sections -

Walk 1 - Sunday 6th July - Family Walk - Shipley Salvation Army - Myrtle Park via 3 Rise Locks - 3-3.5 Miles

Walk 2 - Saturday 27th September - 3 Rise Locks - Skipton Canal Basin - 13.5 Miles

Walk 3 - Saturday 11th October - Leeds - Shipley Salvation Army - 13.5 Miles

Some of us are doing all of the walks, and some are doing 1 or 2 sections. We have been out training in both the heat and the rain, and look forward to walking to raise money to improve our church & community building in Shipley!
