The Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (ISPCC) is Ireland’s oldest and most well-known children’s charity. The ISPCC has a long, proud history of service delivery and advocacy on behalf of children.

Story

We are all well aware of the impact Covid-19 restrictions have had on mental health over the past year. In particular to children, last year Childline received over 381,000 calls. Since March the service has had an increase of 25% in children and young people contacting Childline online. In that period, there has also been an increase of 143% in users of the Childline.ie website.

Childline will continue to be there for children and young people 24/7 throughout the pandemic but can only do so with the public's support.

To raise awareness for Childline and Children's Mental Health Week for the first week of February, six dads, will be running, rowing and cycling a total of 381km throughout the week! If you can, please help support Childline by donating what you can.
