3 parents up 3 mountains

Raising money for Alice's Arc

We are a children's cancer charity funding research into finding more targeted and less harsh treatments for rhabdomyosarcoma. We support the children and families impacted by the disease. Working in conjunction with the Institute of Cancer Research and Great Ormond Street Hospital to achieve this.

Story

Do you ever look at your children and be thankful for all the joys (and other moments!) they bring!? We know not all families are so lucky - and maybe you too have been through an unbelievably tough experience. There are many charities that really make a difference in those moments....and we hope you will help us support two of them.

Just before Christmas myself and two great friends decided that we would take on a challenge and scale over 6,000 ft of the finest Yorkshire mountains in the Yorkshire Dales Three Peaks Challenge.

As parents we want to use this challenge to raise money for two amazing charities that either help children live with (and beyond) cancer and rebuilds young people's confidence (the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust) or is funding the cure of a rare and devastating childhood cancer (Alice's Arc).

You can read more about these two charities and our reason for choosing them on the fundraising pages.

Please give as generously as you can. The photo below is from the dinner with Jo & Chris very willingly signed up for the challenge!

Thank you,

Nathan, Jo & Chris
