3 Peak, 1 Leg Challenge!
After completing Mount Snowdon in August 2019, I set myself a challenge to do the ‘3 peaks in 3 years’ ….. However, the Pandemic put a hold on that!
But at last, on Saturday 10th September 2022, the challenge will commence on Scafell Pike, Lake District. I have chosen to raise funds for The Limbless Association and Sepsis UK.
The LA supports & advises amputees and their families and when you or someone you love, joins the LA you become part of a supportive community and you also become part of a family that knows what you’re going through with your amputee journey. Just talking to someone can help you out of a dark place and change your outlook on life as an amputee and can help you to see that there is ‘Life after Limb Loss’. I have seen first-hand the amazing things the money we raise can do.
Sepsis is the body’s overwhelming and life-threatening response to infection that can lead to tissue damage, organ failure, and death. Recently Sepsis has become very close to our hearts and many people have lost limbs because of this condition. So fundraising for Sepsis UK helps awareness, helps to educate and saves lives!
In 2019 Snowdon was challenging but so very inspiring.
Scafell is the highest mountain in England and with my amazing support team I’m determined to reach the top once more!!
Please help me to reach the top, to help others believe that life after limb loss can be LIMB-ITLESS!
Thank you ♥️
