Story

Louis, Luke, Shane, Ollie, Dom and Ben will be taking on a challenge in June 2021. The challenge is simple...hike the 3 Peaks:

- Snowdon, Wales.

- Scaffel Pike, Lake District.

- Ben Nevis, Scotland.

and cycle between. The challenge is approx. 415 miles (669km) on the bike, 27 miles (45km) of hiking with a total ascent of 3064 metres (10,052ft). We will be doing the event over 7 days starting on 12 June 2021 finishing 18 June 2021.

This challenge is being taken on in memory of Kevin Brudenall-Jones.

On 18th January 2021 Louis lost his dad, Kevin Brudenall-Jones, to COVID-19. He was an amazing human being who just loved to help everyone. He was a wonderful Dad who just adored his boys and his family. We all know how caring Kev was and we know he would want to help those who helped him in his final weeks. As such, in doing this challenge we are asking for donations to support COVID-19 NHS staff wellbeing and provide psychological support, enhance staff spaces to create comfortable areas so that they can take a break during or after their shifts and also enable them to react effectively as demands at Wexham Park Hospital rapidly increase. We know they did all they could until the very end so we feel this is our way of thanking them.

I understand many have already donated, but we are asking if you could once again support such an amazing charity that did everything for a man that did everything for everyone, asking nothing in return.

Thank you all.

Frimley Health Covid 19 Appeal:

Our hospitals are currently faced with the highest numbers of Covid patients since the start of the pandemic significantly more than we had during the first peak. Staff are under immense pressure & were doing everything possible to look after their health and wellbeing while they work tirelessly to care for patients. Having learnt so much from the first wave, we know how to support our staff, but we can only do this with your help. Right now, staff across our hospitals continue to work tirelessly to deliver care to those who need it most. Many are working longer shifts, extra days & continuing to spend a lot of time away from their home and families to keep them safe & ensure every patient receives the care they deserve. Your donation will help us to support staff wellbeing & provide psychological support, enhance staff spaces to create comfortable areas so they can take a break during/after their shifts and also enable to us a charity to react effectively as demands change.
