Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm aiming to set a new world record whilst raising money for incredible charities.
Multiple iron distance triathlons, over consecutive days, finishing on the red carpet of one of the world's toughest Ironman events in Wales!
My challenge is totally self-funded, meaning 100% of your donation goes to the charities.
National Autistic Society (NAS)
The National Autistic Society (NAS) is one of my chosen charities because it's a cause that holds a special place in my heart. My nephew, Harry, is an absolute gem who brightens my life with his intelligence, wit, and humour. He continually makes me smile, and I'm in awe of his unique perspective on the world.
Harry possesses an incredible range of skills and qualities that would make any future employer fortunate to have him. Autism is not something to be misunderstood or overlooked—it should be embraced, understood by everyone, and celebrated by all.
Our family simply wouldn't be the same without Harry, and we feel incredibly lucky to have him in our lives every single day.
Supporting NAS means supporting wonderful individuals like Harry, and helping create a world where everyone, no matter their differences, can thrive.
NAS helps create a society that works for autistic people. One of the ways they work towards this is through public events and campaigns to promote autism awareness and acceptance.
NAS offer educational and children services, training, diagnostic services, support in the community & family support. Plus much more.
Let's build a world where autism is understood and accepted, and every individual is given the opportunity to succeed.
Together, we can create a world where every individual with autism thrives and reaches their full potential.
MAGGIE’s
We all know someone whose life has been touched by cancer-whether it's a family member, friend, neighbour, or work colleague. But in the face of such challenges, it's uplifting to know that cancer support charities like Maggie's are here to offer a lifeline, providing comfort and care during and after treatment.
Far too many people on my inner circle have been touched by cancer, it's time I played my part in raising funds for a charity which offers ongoing support and comfort.
Ultimately, cancer support charities give patients and their families hope, helping them feel less alone and more empowered in their fight against cancer.
At Maggie's, individuals and families can find the support they need-whether it's practical help with finances, joining support groups, managing emotions, or learning ways to cope with symptoms and side effects. There are resources for everyone involved, offering comfort and community.
Together, we can give strength to cancer survivors and patients, reminding them they're not in this fight alone. Every contribution is a message of hope to cancer patients, letting them know that brighter days are ahead.
