Help Us Get the 4th Canvey Island Sea Scouts to Kandersteg!

We’re raising money to help take a group of young people from the 4th Canvey Island Sea Scouts on the adventure of a lifetime — a trip to the Kandersteg International Scout Centre in Switzerland!

Kandersteg is more than just a beautiful place in the Alps — it’s a unique international home of scouting, where young people from all over the world come together to share skills, stories, and unforgettable experiences. We want to give every one of our scouts the chance to be part of this incredible journey — no matter their background.

To make this opportunity as affordable and accessible as possible, we’re fundraising to help cover the costs of the trip for our group.

Our first big fundraising challenge?

Sam, Lucy, and Jack will be joined my Sam’s brother Martin and friends Joe, Harry and Chris to taking on the South Coast Ultra Challenge — a 100km hike in one go! It’s a huge physical and mental test, but they’re stepping up to the challenge to help open the door to an amazing experience for our scouts.

Every pound you give will go directly towards supporting the trip and ensuring no one is left behind because of cost.
